Swab up.
Save a life.

Canada's Lifeline is coming to select colleges and universities to help you join the stem cell registry and save lives.

Join the registry

Why you matter

We're coming to your campus because someone like you could change everything for a patient in need. Stem cells from a younger donor (ages 17 to 35) typically lead to better outcomes for patients undergoing lifesaving stem cell transplants.

You could be the match that gives someone a second chance at life.

Be the one.
Make the match.
Save a life.

Three easy steps

1. Show up

Show up at our event to join the stem cell registry.

2. Swab up

Get swabbed with a simple and painless cheek swab.

3. Spread the word

Use social media to share the importance of joining the stem cell registry.

Couldn't make it to the event? Join the stem cell registry online and a cheek swab kit will be mailed to your home for you to complete. It's easy!

Save a life today

If you’re a match, what happens next?

We'll contact you if you are matched with a patient whose life you could save. Canadian Blood Services will be with you every step of the way during the stem cell donation process. Donating is simple and usually involves a process similar to blood donation (surgical collection of stem cells is more rare).

Be the one. Make the match. Save a life.
