Am I eligible to donate blood?
If you’re 17+ years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good general health; you may be eligible to donate blood. We encourage all donors to review eligibility criteria before booking your appointment.

FAQs and Draw rules
What if I’m under the age of majority?
Entrants who are under the age of majority in their resident province/territory but are at least 17 years old must submit a completed Give and Get Away Parental/Guardian Consent Form, by April 7, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET to prize@blood.ca or their Entry will be considered void.
For clarity, only one (1) Give and Get Away Parent/Guardian Consent Form needs to be submitted by an individual Entrant in accordance with the Draw Eligibility requirements.
Do I need to donate?
You must book a donation appointment and/or join the stem cell registry, but a successful donation or buccal (cheek) swab is not required.
For example, if you show up for your appointment and it is determined that you are not eligible to donate that day for any reason (ex. you have low hemoglobin, you got a new tattoo less than 3 months ago, etc.) are still eligible to enter the draw if you meet all other Draw eligibility requirements.

Completed Give and Get Away Parental/Guardian Consent Form must be sent to prize@blood.ca by April 7, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, if applicable.

If Canadian Blood Services does not receive a response from the selected Entrant within seven (7) business days of notification, the Prize will be forfeited, and another eligible Entry will be selected by way of random draw from all remaining eligible Entries.

What are the Prize Conditions?
- Prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and may not be substituted, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
- If the winner elects to travel without a guest and does not utilize the second ticket included in the Prize, the unused ticket shall be forfeited in its entirety. No substitute prize or other compensation will be provided for any unused portion under any circumstances.
- Travel must occur between April 30th, 2026 and April 30th, 2027.
- Additional restrictions and blackout dates may apply as solely determined by the Air Canada Foundation.
- Tickets are only valid on Air Canada operated flights (including, flights operated under the Air Canada Express banner and operated by Air Canada Rouge).
- The Prize winner and their guest are solely responsible for:
- ensuring they meet all travel and entry requirements for their selected destination.
- Any and all costs, expenses and taxes not expressly described above as included in the Prize, including, without limitation, ground transportation, gratuities, merchandise, baggage charges, personal expenses of any nature for overnight layovers, meals and beverages, travel and medical insurance, service charges, and in-flight meals and entertainment.
